Lula
I adopted Lula when she was a kitten. She was beautiful and very special to me. I made the difficult decision to have her euthanized because of aggressive episodes that resulted in injuries to myself and my visitors. She was only four years old. My efforts to bring out more of her gentle side were successful, though not enough to keep her from being fearful and dangerous to others. When the time came for her to go, I kept her home and stayed by her side as she passed. Dr. Carnes was very gentle and compassionate with us. I take comfort in knowing that Lula’s short life was a good one. She was always loved, safe, and well cared for. We had many fun play times and she often snoozed in my lap or beside me in bed. I miss her and will hold her in my heart forever.
